We all have narratives that play out in our heads each and every day. In order to find success and wellbeing, it’s important to take steps to build and reinforce a positive narrative.
This week’s guest is coach and sports emcee James Quigley. He says it’s all too easy to get caught up in a passive or negative narrative about our own lives. To break that cycle, you have to build a new pattern brick by brick, which can be challenging.
It may mean incorporating different habits in your everyday life that make you healthier, more focused, and productive. In the end, it’s about finding what you, individually, contribute to the world. After all, Quigley says, the world needs you with all your unique strengths and ideas. By taking the driver’s seat in our own lives, we can break down our old barriers of fear and lack of confidence and find the clarity we need to be the best versions of ourselves.
